Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a 2009 first-person shooter
video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Xbox 360,
PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. It is the sixth instalment of the
Call of Duty series and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,
continuing the same storyline, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ending the
storyline.
This has to be my favourite game of all time. I love FPS game
every Call of Duty game that has been made I have played and this is my
favourite out of all of them. There is lots to do with in this game like
unlocking guns, equipment. Levelling up etc. It is one of those game that you
love or you hate it has a single player and a multiplayer for players to play.
The single player is the campaign which involves the storyline. Then there is
the multiplayer which the game is mainly based around which allows you and
other player around the globe to player against or with each another. Overall
the gameplay in this game is very enjoyable and fun to play.
The sounds with in this game is mainly characters speaking,
explosions and gun shots. There is not very many sound effects so this could be
an improvement to put in more sound effects. There is also the main menu music
which I think suits the game nicely. The graphics in this game are not bad but
not the best but this is probable because from when the game came out. So when
the game came out these graphics were probable the best out there at the time
so really due to this there probable is not really any room for improvement on
these. The detail on the characters, weapons and buildings are not bad at all
due to it being an older game.
The replay ability for this game is good there is online multiplayer
which means that players can play with friend and other random people that are
playing this game online. There is also four different DLCs that had new maps
on them, so players could buy these packs and keep playing the game without
getting bored.
There is also achievements that can be unlocked within the multiplayer
and the single player (Campaign).
Overall I really think this is one of my favourite game that I
have played. The PROS for this game are the graphics and replay ability due to
the graphics being the best when the game came out and there being lots of
things in for the replay ability. The CON in this game is maybe the sound due to
there not being enough. So overall I am going to give this game a 9/10.
