Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii is a racing game for the Wii console. It is the sixth instalment in the main Mario Kart series, and the eighth overall. Similar to every Mario Kart game, Mario Kart Wii includes new features such as new race courses along with other courses that appeared in past Mario Kart games, like its predecessor Mario Kart DS. This game has sold over 34 million copies.

The gameplay in this game is really fun and enjoyable. There are lots of different features with in the game. I think this game is more enjoyable when playing with friends and family just because it does get boring after a while when you are playing it on your own. What makes this game fun is the different choose in map, characters and mainly the competition between each other when in the races.

The graphics on this game are good there is detail in the character, karts and the maps. It is more cartoony graphics then realistic graphics. There is not really any improvement needed on the graphics in this game these graphics suit the game really well and are really good for when it came out. The sound effects in this game is also really good, there are sound effects from the karts, and the random equipment they get like bombs. There is also the main menu background music which I think really suits the game very well due to it not being to intense music and not too calm but just right.

The replay ability for this game is also really good. There is multiplayer so players can play against each other or if there are playing the game mode battle then there can play together on teams. There is also the option to play online multiplayer which is you playing against random players around the world. There is achievements to be unlock in this game as well, but what there isn’t and this is a think that could be improved is adding in new maps every so often like a DLC.

Overall this game is enjoyable there is plenty of things to do on it and it is fun playing with friends and family. The PROS of this game are the graphics, sound effect and the gameplay. The CONS of this game are part of the replay ability, not all of it is a CON but there is something that need to be improved, there needs to be a DLC for the game with new maps and karts for players to play with. Overall I am going to give this game an 8/10.

Forza Motorsport 3 Review

Forza Motorsport 3 is a racing video game developed for Xbox 360 by Turn 10 Studios. The game includes more than 400 customizable cars (More than 500 cars in the Ultimate Collection version) from 50 manufacturers and more than 100 race track variations with the ability to race up to eight cars on track at a time.

The gameplay in this game is very enjoyable and fun to play. The things that are in this game are all the different chooses in cars to play with and different courses to go on. There is so much to do in this game that the game can be played over and over again. This leads on to replay ability. The replay ability is very good due to players being able to play with a range of different courses and cars. There is also multiplayer which allows players to play against each other this is due to the online mode. There is also achievement to be unlocked for points. Apart from all that there is not really anything to improve on the replay ability.  

 

This game has incredible good graphics there is so much detail in the game from cars to environment. The detail on the cars are so good for when the game came out. The graphics are very realistic, each car has its own unique design to it to look just like a car in real life. Overall the graphics on this game are very good for when the game came out, there is not really anything to say how to improve it.

The sounds with in this game are also very good, there has been so much detail that has been put into the sounds from the engines on the cars, and each car has a different sound effect. There is background music at the main menu of the game and that is about it for the sound effect. What could be improved on this game is adding in more sounds.

Overall the PROS in this game are really everything, the gameplay is enjoyable, the replay ability is also very good and the graphics are phenomenal. The only CON in this game is the sound due to just there not being very many. Overall I’m going to give this game a 8/10 due to gameplay, replay ability and graphics being very good but the sound effect letting the game down a bit due to there not being very many. 

Super Mario Strikers review

Super Mario Strikers

Super Mario Strikers, known as Mario Smash Football in Europe and Australia, is a five-a-side football game developed by Next Level Games for the Nintendo GameCube and the Wii. This game is a sports game incorporating characters and themes from the Mario franchise.

The gameplay features the basic aspects and objectives of a football game, although no referees are present and characters can legitimately shove others out of possession of the ball. Within this game there are special ability that the characters have and each character has a different moves the main/biggest moves come from the main characters in the game for example Mario and Donkey Kong. This is one of the most enjoyable game I have played, so overall the gameplay is very good due to there being a lot in it.

The graphics in this game are not the best but they do still show a lot of detail on characters and environment that the player is playing in. There is some room for improvements is some parts of the game but overall they are not to back also due to this game coming out in 2005 the graphics are not going to be as good as the graphics we see on some games today.

The sound effects in this game are very good there are lots of them the only problem is the music in the main menu part I think that it does not suit the game at all it is too calm and this game is a more intense game then a calm game. Overall this game has good sound effect in it like when hitting a character in to the side it sounds like some is getting electrocuted which is what happens.  

The replay ability for this game is very good it has multiplayer which allows players to play against friends in competitions or just to see who the best is. There is also achievements that can be unlocked within this game as well as unlocking new stations that can be played on. There is also being able to change the characters that you/the player wants to play as.

Overall this game is a fun and enjoy able game to play, the CONS in this game are the graphics and a part of the sound effects in this game. The PROS in this game are the gameplay and the replay ability. Overall I am going to give this game an 8/10.

White Knight Chronicles Review

White Knight Chronicles Review

White Knight Chronicles is a fantasy role-playing video game developed by Level-5 and SCE Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. White Knight Chronicles is a role-playing video game presented in a third-person perspective. The player can freely choose which character to control.

I have to be honest this game has to be one of the worst games I have ever played. It is one of those games that get so boring after a few minutes, when attacking an enemy it that about 7 second until you can hit the enemy again. Games that do this I really do not like but then there are people that do like these kinds of game. The only good thing that I found fun in this game was being able to make your own character and play as them in the game. Overall the gameplay needs to be improved a lot to get more people to come and play it.

The graphic on this game are not any better they also need a lot of improvements, the detail on the characters are not the best but they are better than the detail on the buildings with in the game. I found that when the graphics were use the most was when making/designing your character that the player could play as. This was due to the more detail put onto the character that was being created. the game is set in a 3rd person perspective view.

The sound effect with in this game are okay these are probable the best thing in this game, there are sounds from the characters when talking and when attacking the enemies. There is also sometimes a background music to show the mood that the stage of the game is in, for example is you are just walking around then the music will be calm but when in a fight the music will become more intense when attacking the enemies.

The replay ability is okay there is online multiplayer so players can play against other players around the world and there is also achievements to be unlock though out the whole game. Apart from that there is not much more to say about the replay ability, I feel that this game needs to be more interesting and more enjoyable to play.

Overall the PROS of this game are the sound effect in the game from enemies and the characters, also there is the replay ability which allows players to play online multiplayer and go up against other players around the world. The CONS in this game are the graphics they are very poor there is a lot of improvement that need to be considered and there is also the main part of the game which is gameplay, the gameplay in the game is very boring not much to do, I think this game needs to be improved a lot. I am going to give this game a 4/10.    

The last of us review

The Last of Us

The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival horror video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3. This game is based around a zombie apocalypse.

The Last of Us is a very fun, enjoyable and exciting game. The gameplay with in the game is very good there is a range of different things that can be done in this game for an example is shooting/killing enemies (zombies and humans). The player roams around the deserted city which plants and trees have grown on buildings. I enjoyed playing this game a lot mainly because I am a big zombies fan any game that has zombies in it I want to get. Overall the gameplay is good lots of acting in the game.

The graphics in this game are not too bad they could be better there is not much detail on building and characters as much as I would like but they are a lot better than other games that came out when this came out. I think what they should do next time is concentrate on the detail in the characters more mainly because the player sees them more  due to the game being in a 3^rd person shooter game.

The sounds with in the game are also quite good there is sound effects from the characters (zombies and humans). The zombies moan and grunt just like a zombie would and when the player is getting attacked then they will also make noises depending on the situation in the game. An example of this would be them getting shoot which would lead to the characters making noise to show that they are getting shoot/in pain.

The replay ability in this game is very good there is achievements that can be unlocked on the PlayStation 3. There is also a multiplayer game mode which allows player to play online with other players that have the same game. The last replay ability in this game is that players can purchase DLCs for this game which will give them more guns and different maps to play on the only problem with the DLCs is that they cost a bit of money.

Overall for this game in the PROS are that the replay ability is very good so this will encourage players to keep on playing the game and the sound that are in the game that come from the zombies and characters which are very good. The CONS in this game is the graphics due to them not being the best they could be. Overall I am going to give this game a 7/10.
